20200718 Cute Fruit sneak peek

You will be making 12 cards (3 each of 4 designs).  Your kit will include envelopes, paper, embellishments and dimensionals to make the cards.  I will be modifying the format of my classes to “stamp and go”.  Here is how it will work:

  • Sign up for a time slot to stamp (up to 4 people each)
  • Come to my house to stamp your images, pick up your kit, and pay for class. Please wear a mask.
  • Finish your cards at home. You will need your own adhesive/glue.

The class fee is $25.  You can also choose add-ons at a special price (I will order them for you):

  • Select both add-ons and get a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad FREE ($7 value after shipping and GET)

Here are the time slots available, up to 4 people each.  You will be able to finish stamping within a half hour--the 15 minute buffer is for me to clean and reset.

  • Saturday, July 18th – 9 am, 9:45 am, 10:30 am, 11:15 am, 12:00 pm, 12:45 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:15 pm

Cute Fruit Note Cards

My new favorite set is Cute Fruit--the name just says it all!  It has these great smiley faces that I will be using on many of my cards.  It is in the Beginner's Brochure on page 7 (below).  Clicking on the brochure image on the right side of this page to see the full brochure.

Here are the note cards that I made with this set and the new 2020-2022 in-colors.  These cards are the "take and makes" for my new catalog drive and pick-up event this weekend, June 13th and 14th.  Please go to my blog post from June 4th to check out all of the details!

    • Bumblebee cardstock 3 1/4 x  3/4"
    • DSP 2 x 3 1/4" (note: to save paper, you can make it 2 x3", then cut it in half so that there is a gap under the pineapple which you don't see; this is how I cut the "take and make" version)

UPDATE 6/6/20:  I HAVE ADDED MORE RETIRED ITEMS TO THE LIST!  I WILL ALSO REFRESH THE FILE LINKS AT THE END OF THE DAY SO THAT YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS STILL AVAILABLE.  HALF OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE RETIRED SALE WILL BE GOING TO THE HAWAII FOODBANK, SO BY SHOPPING YOU ARE HELPING THOSE IN NEED!  THANK YOU.

I miss seeing all of you!  Instead of having my usual new catalog open house event, I’m changing it into a drive and pick-up format.  On the weekend of June 13th and 14th between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm you can drive up to my house and pick-up your new catalog packet (free).  It will include a “take and make”.  This is a socially distanced version of the “make and take” 😊  Please let me know the date and approximate time you will do your pick-up, this will help with traffic control.

PLUS, you can also purchase retired products by making your selections in advance so that I can package your items with your catalog and let you know your total.  Here is how it will work:

  1. Review the order form in Excel ( Download 20200612 Retired products list Excel) that lists all of the retired products I have available. Check off what you would like and email it back to me by June 12th.  Remember, the sooner you return it the better as it is first come, first served!
  2. If you are unable to open the Excel file, then open this PDF file ( Download 20200612 Retired products list).  View the list and then email me with the numbers you would like (see the blue number in the last column, numbered from 1-97 and newly added items 98-218).
  3. I will process the retired orders in the order that I receive them.
  4. I will notify you of your total and if there were any items no longer available.
  5. Bring your payment with you to the pick-up and we will do a contact-free exchange. Please pay in cash (exact change please) or check.

AND I will be having a drawing for 2 special product bundles (* items were exclusive to the mini catalog or SAB and are now retired):

  • Painted Poppies Bundle ($75 value) - Painted Poppies Stamp Set, Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper*, Sending You Thoughts Stamp Set*, Poppy Parade Ink Pad, Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, Clear Block D
  • Best Dressed Bundle ($85 value): Dressed to Impress Stamp Set, All Dressed Up Dies, Designer Paper (48 sheets 6x6”)*, 3x3 Note Cards and Envelopes (24)*, Clear Block D

Here is how to qualify for tickets for the drawing:

  • Drive to my house to pick up your catalog = 1 ticket
  • For every $10 spent on the retired sale = 1 ticket
  • For every $10 in product on a new order placed between June 13th and July 31st = 1 ticket (you can order on-line via my website or I can place the order for you)
  • For signing up as a demonstrator with me between June 13th and July 31st = 12 tickets (see special below for June)
  • Donate to the FoodBank, for every $10 donated = 2 tickets (please give your donation to me when you do your pick-up or you can mail it to me)
  • There is no limit to the number of tickets you can get through July 31st. I will keep track and put them in the basket for you with your name.
  • I will draw and announce the 2 winners on August 1st!

If you would like to pick-up your catalog and any retired product purchases after June 14th, please contact me and we can make arrangements.  You can continue to purchase retired products until July 31st  or while they last.  I will send out an updated list after June 14th.  You will still qualify for tickets as described above through July 31st.

AND finally, here are the specials happening from now to June 30th to kick-off the new catalog:

  • Place an order of $250 or more and earn an additional $25 in Stampin’ Rewards
  • When you join Stampin’ Up!, the starter kit of $99 includes $125 of product of your choice PLUS pick any stamp/tool bundle from the 2020-2021 catalog for FREE!

Looking forward to seeing you in drive and pick-up!

Cute Koala's

Happy May!  Have you been finding more time for crafting these last six weeks?  I spent some time in my craft room this weekend making birthday and mother's day cards using the Bonanza Buddies stamp set.  Sadly, it is on the retired list, so after June 2nd it will no longer be available.  Yikes, get it while you can!

Birthday Cards

To create the Koala, it involves 2 step stamping--one for the body and 1 for the face.  For precise placement, I set-up the images on the stamparatus, one plate for the body, and one plate for the face and balloon strings.  I stamped the hat separately.  The Birthday Bonanza DSP really dressed up the card and kept the layout simple.  Happy birthday!

20200511 Koala Birthday Card

Here is the recipe:

  • Stamp Sets: Bonanza Buddies
  • Daffodil Delight 5 1/2 x 8 1/2”
  • Whisper White cardstock 2 x 2 5/8” for peacock, cut out with die
  • Basic Black cardstock 2 1/4 x 2 7/8”
  • Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral cardstock for balloons and hat
  • Birthday Bonanza DSP 2 1/4 x 5 1/4"
  • Ink: Smoky Slate, Tuxedo Black, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight
  • Wink of Stella Clear
  • Stamparatus

Mother's Day Card

I used the same Stamparatus set-up for the Koala and a similar layout as the birthday card. Then I cut out the flowers from the Best Dressed DSP so that the little koala is holding a special bouquet for mom.   You can change the sentiment to make it fit any special occasion.

20200511 Koala Mother's Day Card

Here is the recipe:

  • Stamp Sets: Bonanza Buddies, Itty Bitty Greetings
  • Petal Pink 5 1/2 x 8 1/2”
  • Whisper White cardstock 2 x 2 5/8”
  • Basic Black cardstock 2 1/4 x 2 7/8”
  • Best Dressed DSP 1 3/4 x 5 1/4", plus extra for flower cut-outs
  • Ink: Smoky Slate, Tuxedo Black
  • Stamparatus
